1、 What is a high-efficiency water reducing agent?
Water reducing agent is a concrete admixture that can reduce the amount of mixing water while maintaining the basic consistency of concrete slump. After being added to the concrete mixture, it has a dispersing effect on cement particles, which can improve their workability, reduce unit water consumption, and enhance the fluidity of the concrete mixture; Or reduce the unit cement consumption and save cement.
High efficiency water reducing agent can significantly reduce water consumption and improve the strength of concrete at different ages when the slump of concrete is basically the same.
2、 What is the difference between high-efficiency water reducing agents and ordinary water reducing agents?
Both high-efficiency water reducers and ordinary water reducers can effectively improve the rheological properties of concrete mixtures, with similar effects. However, in other aspects, the two types of water reducers are different:
1. The water reduction rate of ordinary water reducing agents is usually 5% to 10%; The water reduction rate of high-efficiency water reducing agents can reach 12% to 25%, or even higher.
2. Efficient water reducing agents can significantly improve the workability of concrete while maintaining a constant water cement ratio. For example, adding high-efficiency water reducing agents can prepare high fluidity concrete with a slump of up to 25cm without generating excessive air entrainment. Will not cause excessive retarding of concrete; Under the same cement dosage, the slump of concrete mixed with ordinary water reducing agent is usually around 10cm.
3. Under the condition of basically unchanged slump, high-efficiency water reducing agents can effectively reduce the mixing water consumption of concrete, significantly reduce the water cement ratio, and thus improve the strength of concrete. Therefore, high-efficiency water reducing agents are mainly used for preparing flowable concrete with high requirements for water reduction; However, ordinary water reducing agents have a lower water reduction rate and are mainly used to prepare concrete with low strength grades and low water reduction requirements.
4. In terms of preparation cost, polycarboxylate superplasticizers have high solid content and relatively high prices; And ordinary water reducing agents have low solid content and low price.
